Deep down, we all have that adventurous sideâone that fears nothing and no one. Itâs the part of us thatâs capable of taking the initiative, striking up conversations with strangers, and not thinking twice when itâs time to take a riskâbecause nothing in this life is predetermined.
I like people who arenât afraid to risk looking silly, to laugh out loud at everythingâpeople who have plenty of reasons and no excuses.
Who knows? If we stopped making money an end in itself and gave it the place it deserves, greed wouldnât exist; weâd be more jointly responsible, and as a society weâd all enter a state of collective happiness. But how can we make people understand that fame, luxury, and money arenât the way? Working yourself to the bone to make money isnât the answer either; the path could be any other that doesnât involve giving away our timeâwhich translates into earningsâto someone just like us who doesnât value it.

The path and the time one invests toward a goal should not be given away, but rather invested. Invested in spending more time with family, in enjoying travel, and in getting to know other cultures. Invested in making others happy, helping when needed and when itâs our choice to do so, enjoying the little things that life offers us, seeking solutions instead of problems, loving instead of hating; investing our time in things that add to our lives and avoiding those that take away from them.
We humans are imperfect, and we should enjoy being so, but believing ourselves to be gods and wanting to make morality the yardstick by which we measure a personâs worth is something else we must avoid.
